Supporting Plot 9

I am extremely grateful for any donations and rest-assured – they will be put to work to maintain and develop this unique opportunity to nature an alternative community space in south-east London. I take no money from the project* and thanks to very low ground rental rates from the council, donations will directly support:

  • Tools and other equipment
  • Timber and other materials (for when salvaged materials aren’t suitable)
  • Improved lighting with an integrated solar system
  • Costs of Plot 9’s website and events database
  • Firewood, teas, coffee, loo roll, lamp oil, etc.
  • Subsiding events to keep ticket prices as low as possible for paid events
  • Plants (both edibles and ornamentals)

Upcoming projects include:

  • Community Greenhouse (made from reclaimed windows)
  • Two new ‘snug-style’ seating areas (one in the new Open Parachute Space and one in the Seated Parachute Space)
  • Plumbing and filtrations to provide a reliable drinking water supply to the plot
  • Solar Sytem for lighting around pathways and area lighting for the shelter, parachute spaces and kitchen
  • More storage – clearly labelled storage on all three levels so any users of the plot can quickly find what they need
  • Wood-working and crafts workshop area
  • Improved signage outsite the plot
  • Top-soil and grass-seed for the new Open Parachute Space

Donations can be made as either a one-off payment or montly on the Ko-Fi platform. Thank you!

*my ‘payout’ comes from meeting the amazing people that come to events, participating in those events, and having the joy of building the space and seeing it come to life.
